Youth Institute For Jazz And Music Studies
Slated to be incorporated into the Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation's Museum Education programming in Atlantic City, the Youth Institute is the umbrella for IDEA's successful jazz programs: Byrd is the Word and The Music by the Sea Summer Jazz Camp. The institute will be directed and produced by the legendary Donald Byrd, the last of the great jazz trumpeters from the era of Dizzy, Miles and Coltrane.
